he 41st annual TASTE: A Festival of Food & Art was held at the Bossier Civic Center on Thursday, Sept. 15. The event, which raises awareness and funds for Holy Angels, a residential and training campus for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, was back in person after two years of being virtual. Guests enjoyed tasting delicious offerings from more than 30 food and drink vendors and were entertained with performances by the band Windstorm and the Holy Angels choir. A silent auction with more than 200 items, including art made by Holy Angels residents, original art by local artists, fine jewelry, trips, and more. All proceeds are used to support the Holy Angels programs including residential, supported employment, and day programs.
